Mother's Day KAL/CAL 2024
Hi Fiber Buddies! It is almost Mother's Day, and we wanted to invite you all to celebrate with us! Join us on Saturday, May 11th, from 1 to 4 pm. We will be celebrating the Mothers in our lives, and starting a small KAL/CAL together. The KAL/CAL will run until June 1st. The patterns are simple enough that we should be able to finish and wear them by the 2nd!! For the KAL, we will be knitting the Puaka Shawlette by Francoise Danoy. To knit this airy & elegant shawlette, you will need one skein of fingering weight yarn. Puaka is Māori for flower, and the lace edge is beautifully botanical. For the CAL, we will be starting the Slow Wave Infinity Scarf by Lucienne Crochet. This cowl was named after the deepest, most restful part of our sleep; as you crochet, feel yourself get into the rhythm and relax.
