Summer Top KAL/CAL

Join us in making some tops to wear this summer! We'll meet on Saturdays, beginning June 21st from 1 to 3 pm in the afternoon. We will also be celebrating the summer solstice on the 21st, so come on by to join in on the festivities! We are on Monroe, in the Garland Shopping District. Grand Re-Opening Party & Cascade Yarn Tasting

Hi Fiber Buddies! We are unpacked and open for business at our new location! We are now located at 3808 North Monroe Street , in Spokane, Washington. We will be having a Grand Re-Opening Party & Cascade Yarn Tasting to celebrate our successful move on Saturday, the 27th of July . We will be open from 10 am to 4 pm on the 27th, so stop by anytime that is convenient for you! We will have sandwiches, chips, cake, and refreshing non-alcoholic beverages. We are Moving!

Hi Fiber Buddies!  The Hook & Needle Nook is moving! 🥳 We are moving just up the street to 3808 North Monroe Street . This shop was previously home to the Gaming Grotto, if you want to look the location up. (It has its own thermostat!) Join us for a Moving Party on Saturday, June 22 , where we will begin to pack yarn. We have movers scheduled for Friday, June 28 to help us move our big heavy furniture and displays. It is our hope to be open for business at 3808 North Monroe Street in early July.

Mother's Day KAL/CAL 2024

Hi Fiber Buddies!  It is almost Mother's Day, and we wanted to invite you all to celebrate with us! Join us on Saturday, May 11th, from 1 to 4 pm. We will be celebrating the Mothers in our lives, and starting a small KAL/CAL together. The KAL/CAL will run until June 1st.  The patterns are simple enough that we should be able to finish and wear them by the 2nd!! For the KAL, we will be knitting the Puaka Shawlette by Francoise Danoy. To knit this airy & elegant shawlette, you will need one skein of fingering weight yarn. Puaka is Māori for flower, and the lace edge is beautifully botanical. For the CAL, we will be starting the Slow Wave Infinity Scarf by Lucienne Crochet. This cowl was named after the deepest, most restful part of our sleep; as you crochet, feel yourself get into the rhythm and relax. 2024 Local Yarn Store Day at The Hook & Needle Nook

Hi Fiber Buddies! We are excited to invite you to celebrate Local Yarn Store Day with us! Join us on Saturday, April 27th, to celebrate the shop and the local fiber art community. Local Yarn Store Day was created by TNNA to support small businesses that carry fiber art supplies and equipment. This event brings together the local community of knitters, crocheters, spinners, weavers, and felters to celebrate their crafts and share ideas with like-minded artists. We will be having a trunk show for Charlotte of HMLloyd Mercantile LLC's hand spun yarn! Coven Collective Fiber Arts and Trilogy Yarns are hand dyeing limited-edition yarn just for the event, and we will have special patterns and a raffle.  We are located at 1508 North Monroe Street in Spokane, Washington and will be open from 10am and 4pm. We are planning on starting our tops on February 15th, during our knit group which meets from 1-4pm. You can find us at 1508 North Monroe Street, Spokane, Washington. For the Knit-Along, we have picked the Ranunculus top by Midori Hirose ! This pattern is very popular and highly customizable.
