Celebrate Local Yarn Store Day with Us – April 25th! 

Mark your calendars—Local Yarn Store (LYS) Day is coming on April 25th, and we’re getting ready to celebrate in a big, cozy, yarn-filled way! This special day is all about community, creativity, and supporting the small shops that keep the fiber arts world vibrant—and we can’t wait to share it with you.

We’re especially excited to host a trunk show from Thought to Thread, here from Seattle! This is a wonderful opportunity to explore their beautiful yarns up close, discover something new for your next project, and get inspired by their unique offerings.


Throughout the day, we’ll be offering a variety of hands-on demonstrations perfect for both beginners and curious crafters looking to try something new:


Spinning with a Spindle 11am to 12pm


Spinning on a Wheel  12pm to 1pm


Pin Loom Weaving 1pm-2pm 


 


Beginner-Friendly Felting 2pm to 4 pm 



Whether you’ve been crafting for years or just want to dip your toes into a new technique, these demos are a great way to learn, ask questions, and connect with fellow makers.

And of course, what’s a celebration without treats? We’ll have snacks, soda, and cake to keep you fueled while you browse, learn, and create.

Bring along your current project and settle into our crafting area, where you can relax, stitch, spin, or felt alongside other fiber enthusiasts. It’s the perfect chance to share ideas, get inspired, and enjoy the company of others who love yarn as much as you do.

Don’t forget to bring a friend—the more, the merrier! We’ll also have door prizes and a special prize drawing, so there are plenty of chances to go home with something extra special.

We’re so excited to celebrate LYS Day with you. Come spend the day with us—learn something new, meet fellow crafters, and enjoy everything that makes this community so wonderful.

Hi Fiber Buddies! We are unpacked and open for business at our new location! We are now located at 3808 North Monroe Street , in Spokane, Washington. We will be having a Grand Re-Opening Party & Cascade Yarn Tasting to celebrate our successful move on Saturday, the 27th of July . We will be open from 10 am to 4 pm on the 27th, so stop by anytime that is convenient for you! We will have sandwiches, chips, cake, and refreshing non-alcoholic beverages.
